This Easter was extra special
This Easter was extra special. Why you might ask? Well first off, it was the first Easter with our little bunny! Second, it was the first time in a long time that the family got together. With the pandemic, all of the holidays have been untraditional, to say the least. But this Easter, I finally felt a sense of normalcy and it felt good! As usual, we house-hopped to both sides of the family, had an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and gave the kids their Easter baskets (which by the way is one of my favorite moments...when they open up their gifts! It's the look on their faces that brightens up my day!).
This year we had three baby girls the age of one and younger, so getting your traditional pre-made baskets was not an option. I had to think outside of the box this year for gift ideas. I opted for books, bubbles, toys, and sidewalk chalk!
Fun activities for the whole family
Although the children are too young to play with some of these by themselves, I thought what a great idea to have the whole family join in on the fun! Either an older sibling or the parents could blow the bubbles, read the books to the kiddos, and draw with the chalk in the backyard.
