The Stanley 40 oz Quencher…is it really worth the hype?
If you’re reading this you’re probably wondering what the hype is all about on the Stanley tumblers. I too was skeptical until I finally caved in and bought one myself. And let me tell you…you won’t be disappointed, it’s totally worth it!
What I’ve noticed is that I actually drink way more water than I did before. At home, I leave it on the kitchen counter and every time I’m in the kitchen, prepping food, cooking, cleaning, etc. I glance at the tumbler and take a few sips. Those few sips really do add up. I actually went through two throughout the day, which for me is HUGE since I’m not a big water drinker. That’s 80oz in a day, 10 cups!!!
I’m a huge tumbler fan, especially ones that have a handle. But the Stanley Quencher has other features that made it to the top of the chart for me.
Here are my two cents on THE QUENCHER H2.0 | 40 oz:
The lid - one of the things that’s unique to the cup is the versatile lid. Its multi-purpose lid is something that, I think, has a competitive edge over its competition. It may not seem like a big deal, but once you start using it, you too will absolutely love this feature. The rotating lid offers three ways to use it:
1) It has a sealed slot that holds the reusable straw (which comes with the tumbler)
2) A drink opening
3) A full-covered top
The straw - Not too big and not too small, it’s just the right size. And not only that, the thickness of the straw is something that I really appreciated. I’ve purchased other cups with straws and what I’ve noticed is that the plastic is too thick for me. But this one, in my opinion, is just right.
The design - I absolutely LOVE the design of the product. It fits perfectly in the cupholder of the car! For it being a 40 oz cup, it’s big but I don’t feel like it’s too heavy for the size of the cup. They even offer a soft matt version of the tumbler. This is the one that I got and I’m extremely glad I did! It’s sleek and soft. I really love the feel of it.
Colors and options - The cup not only has a variety of really pretty colors (usually it has over 10 options to choose from!), but it also comes with a soft matt option too. That’s the one I decided to go with in Dune. Dune is not quite creamy and not white. To me, it’s on the lighter scale between cream leaning toward latte. Super glad I got this color because I’m OBSESSED with it now!
Cleaning - It’s dishwasher safe! Need I say more? That’s a win for me.
So if you were on the fence about making the purchase, I say go for it! You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and did I mention that these beauties are hard to come by? If you have your heart set on a specific tumbler in a particular color, buy it! The Stanley tumblers are known to sell out in 24 hours once they’ve been stocked up. So what are you waiting for? Go get it!
